Modern Pushtimarg?
The world is a dynamic environment and religion needs to keep in check with the changes in the rest of the world. This is an ideal situation. This should NOT mean that we compromise on the attributes of a religion to make it ‘modern’ and more pleasing to the new generation. This is my sincere belief.
In Pushtimarg we whole heartedly adopt the ethical and moral principles that apply to a Hindu. We are Hindus and have to live by the ideals and formalities that it entails.
We put more importance to the practices of a Hindu than in other ‘paths’ to God. It is for this reason that people misconstrue principles that a Hindu SHOULD follow, to be principles of Pushtimarg.

Appshri’s lalan Goswami Shri Sisir Kumarji was born on Aso Sud Teras and is the 19th direct descendent of Shri Mahaprabhuji.
Shri Sisir Kumarji lalan is Ch Shri Murlimanohar bava and is the 20th direct descendent of Shri Mahaprabhuji.
They are in the linage of Shri Girdharji, Shri Kakavallabhji and Shri Lalmaniji.
